As an experienced and professional violin teacher, I pride myself on my nurturing style. I aim to provide challenging yet fun lessons, which enable my pupils’ confidence and performing style to flourish. I have been teaching for two decades, both privately and for county music services. My teaching style is adapted to each student’s needs and personality. I include elements from many different teaching methods, tailored to each student. I am also an expert in the Figurenotes system.
Lessons are charged at:
- 30 minutes – £22.00
- 45 minutes – £30.00
Lessons take place in South Edinburgh (EH13 9JN) or online using Zoom.
All ages and abilities are welcome. I warmly welcome pupils with additional support needs and have lots of experience with accessible and inclusive teaching techniques. My teaching venue is not wheelchair accessible and there are a number of steps both external and internal. If you are a wheelchair user or would struggle with steps, we may be able to work out an alternative venue.
